Questions? Answers.

1. What is Meda eInvoice by 360Ground?

Meda eInvoice is 360Ground’s e-invoicing and fiscal receipt system. It carries the accreditation “Ministry of Revenue — Accredited e-invoice and fiscal receipt issuer” and is Ministry of Revenue and INSA authorized. It issues invoices and receipts that are registered with the Ministry of Revenue and printed with an IRN and QR code, from our ERP, your existing software or our POS terminals and fiscal printers, with full business management built in.
Directive No. 1142/2026 sets a clearance model. Before an invoice or receipt is legally valid, the seller’s system sends it to the Ministry of Revenue’s Electronic Invoice Registration System. The Ministry registers it and returns an Invoice Registration Number (IRN), an RRN and a QR code, which appear on the document. Meda eInvoice does this automatically for every sale.
The Directive makes an integrated electronic sales register system mandatory for all taxpayers that the tax law requires to keep books of account, and allows others to join voluntarily. It leaves the dates to a schedule the Ministry of Revenue will issue. As of September 2026 that schedule has not been published, so no designation dates are confirmed yet.
Not necessarily a stand-alone one. The Directive lets businesses issue invoices through an approved service provider, approved invoicing software, an approved cloud solution or an authorised in-house system. With Meda eInvoice, a POS terminal and fiscal printer, or your ERP, takes the place of the sales register machine. Keep using your current machine until the Ministry of Revenue designates your business, then we plan the switch with you.
Yes. We implement Odoo, ERPNext and Microsoft Dynamics 365 and can connect them to the Ministry of Revenue’s system so each invoice is registered and returned with its IRN and QR code. If you use other accounting or billing software, we assess it and agree an integration path through the Meda eInvoice API, so you register invoices without replacing a system your team already knows.
We supply POS terminals, fiscal printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers as part of the solution, sourced through authorised channels with genuine manufacturer warranty. The right set depends on your counters, sales volume and branches. During the readiness check we list the specific devices for your site, confirm they work with Meda eInvoice and install and configure them for your staff.
Yes. Meda eInvoice keeps recording sales when the connection drops and sends them for registration as soon as it is restored. The Directive treats offline issuing as a contingency: according to published legal analyses, invoices issued offline must be reconciled into the electronic system within 72 hours of connectivity returning. Meda eInvoice queues and syncs those sales so your records stay complete.
The price depends on the number of branches and tills, the POS terminals and fiscal printers you need, and whether we integrate an existing ERP or set up our own business management system. Software, hardware, installation and support are quoted together on one contract in Ethiopian birr. Book a readiness check and we will send a written quote for your business.
