As part of Ethiopia’s Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MInT) sought to create a unified digital interface for accessing government services. Historically, business owners faced inconsistent, paper-based procedures that varied widely across cities and regions.
The vision: build a secure, modern National Business Portal (NBP) that would enable businesses to apply for services online, make payments, interact with officials, and receive verified digital certificates—all from a single platform, available in five national languages.
