Complete UI/UX Overhaul

We designed the entire user interface based on Abay Bank’s new brand guidelines. This included standardizing font sizes, creating a logical flow for navigation (like moving the “Logout” button), and ensuring language consistency (Amharic & English) across all screens, confirmations, and error messages.

  • Implemented biometric login (Fingerprint & Face ID) for fast and secure access.
  • Moved critical validations, like transfer PIN confirmation, to the backend to prevent client-side bypass.
  • Disabled screenshots and screen recording to protect sensitive user information.
  • Introduced intelligent session management that requires OTP verification only when necessary (e.g., first login, new device), not on every launch

We tackled the frustrating bugs head-on.

  • Resolved the random logout issue.
  • Ensured account balances automatically refresh after every transaction.
  • Fixed broken receipt downloads and ensured consistency between on-screen and downloaded versions.
