Its mission was to catalyze the sustainable development of agricultural value chains and markets by promoting effective practices and approaches to address systemic issues in Ethiopia’s agriculture sector . In 2023, the agency was rebranded as the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) to reflect its expanded mandate and strategic focus on driving the rapid growth and transformation of Ethiopia’s agriculture sector .
