Project Overview

To support Ethiopia’s ambitious education goals and improve national data-driven decision-making, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the British Council and QESSP, initiated a project to collect, analyze, and visualize key performance indicators from over 33,000 schools across the country. The goal was to replace manual data collection with a scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital system.

Prior to this project, education data collection was largely manual, slow, and prone to errors. Timely, accurate insight into school performance, infrastructure, and teaching quality was difficult.
